“We need to establish communities that are dedicated to human freedom—communities in which the health of the community, the education of the child, and social life are imbued with impulses supportive of the cultivation of human freedom.” — Lisa Romero

Dear Members and Friends of the San Diego/San Miguel Branch of the Anthroposophical Society in America,
How fortunate we are in San Diego County to have such a varied and strong community of people working out of a spiritual basis: members of study groups, Waldorf teachers, WISC (Waldorf teacher training), biodynamic farmers, biography counselors, artists, architects, musicians, and School of Spiritual Science members. The science of the spirit is well represented in our area.
As the committee of volunteers planning the festivals, workshops, and lectures, we would like to be a gathering place for all the voices representing Anthroposophy hereabouts to meet and share with each other the fruits of their learning and work. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) has always been such a gathering place. Old friends catch up with each other, new friends are welcomed, the work of the various groups is reported: goals and achievements, areas needing improvement, and the needs for support we should know about.
The branch, too, is in need of your support so that we can offer workshops and lectures for the enhancement of your work, both inner and outer. Annual support of local work from $40 - $100 will give us the opportunity to grow and blossom. Here’s the link to begin or continue your local support: https://sandiegoanthroposophy.com/donation
In addition, membership in the Anthroposophical Society in America is available to all. We have carefully assembled resources, links, and answers to questions about this topic at: https://sandiegoanthroposophy.com/support
When we meet together, something changes in the world, both spiritually and materially. How wonderful it is to sit together with others who know the importance of our work, and to always consider the spiritual aspect of what we do.
We hope that you will join us for our Annual General Meeting and potluck luncheon on Saturday, August 30, 2025, 11:30 AM in Fallbrook.
